The Best Facebook Groups for Bloggers
If you are new to the blogging world you need to spend a lot of time reading and sharing your blog posts on Facebook Groups for bloggers. Facebook is the number one social media platform and there is not one single person that is not on Facebook. For that reason you need to leverage the power of this social media platform in order to grow your blog big time.
Facebook Groups are very popular because they connect people who are involved in the same field. So you can ask for advice, for feedback or simply you can connect with other people who have the same goals as yourself.
The first time I learned about the power of the Facebook groups I jumped in and joined all of them, well almost all. But after a while I realized that it is difficult to keep track of all of them and impossble to participate in all those threads.
For that reason I have divided those groups in sections and I thought to share it with my fellow bloggers.
Share your blog post
There are couple of Facebook Groups that allow you to share your blog post every day. You can share more than once I suppose but it is not fair for other bloggers and if you end up sharing your posts constantly you will seem like a spammer, and no one wants to see that! I post to this groups from time to time or in case I decide to post every day I do it once a day.
- Share Your Blog Post
- Bloggers Network & Promotion Group
- Bloggers Share & Engage!!!
- Bloggers Promotion
- Bloggers Time
- The Blog Loft
In all of these Facebook Groups you can share your blog post on their wall except for the last one where you need to share your blog in the daily thread.
There is something in small Facebook Groups. Every time there is some problem everyone jumps in and tries to help. Another very important thing is when there is a thread everyone reciprocates. There are 2 groups that I really like and if you are really into blogging you should be a part of.
Pinterest Only Groups
Again, there are only 2 groups that I participate in and they are:
They have daily repin treads where you drop your link and you have to repin 5 or 6 other pins. Even though on some days your pins might not get any love and some days your pin goes viral. So they are definitely worth the shot.
Different Daily Threads
As I said in my previous blog post 5 Myths about Blogging, it is impossible to be present on every social media platform. It is better to participate in couple social media platforms and give your best rather than participate in many and give your worst. Well not worst but close to it. I have 2 Facebook Groups where I thought I can share my knowledge and my blog posts too.
But as it turns out, I simply do not have the time to manage them while I am trying to bring traffic to my blog. But if you have posts that are relevant to these groups I will allow you to share and self promote in my groups.
This is my favourite group where the admins are very strict so if someone is not following the rules they are giving them a warning and later they banned them from the group. I participate in 3 daily threads, Pinterest Repins, Stumble Upons and Blog Comments. They offer many other threads for Facebook pages, Twitter and Instagram too. Once a week there is also a follow thread but you have to be very fast because these threads are also very popular and they reach their maximum very fast.
This is another awesome group which offers the same as the previous one.
I love this group too. It offers 3 daily comment threads and most of the time I am part of all of them. They have other threads too such as Google + Like Thread, Blog and Social Share Thread, Instagram Like Thread and many more.
This is another very diverse Facebook Group where you can be part of many threads as well. Here is an example of the threads you can be a part of in this specific group.
I love Pinterest, Stumble Upon and Flipboard. I have been using these apps since forever and I am super happy that I can use them to promote my blog. At the end of the day I feel like I am not working at all. I am also learning about Google + and I just learned about communities, which are similar to Pinterest Group Boards, where I can share my posts too.
You can also find my post about Pinterest Group boards useful or this article that I have come across about Flipboard from another blogger too.
I believe that there are many other groups that I have still not come across with. If you have your own Facebook group that you believe is worth checking, share it with us bellow in the comment section!
