We are all familiar with the fact that breakfast is the most important meal. It gives us fuel to go through the day. But the latest researches show that there is one fruit that you should avoid for breakfast, bananas.

Look at bananas this way; they are simply ideal for breakfast. Not everyone is a morning person. So usually we are in a rush for work and we do not like to spend too much time preparing breakfast. And bananas are so easy, you do not need to wash them just grab them, peel them and eat them.

The answer to this question is very simple. Yes they are good for you! Bananas are rich in fibers,potassium Vitamin B, and they are delicious. But on the other side bananas contain too much sugar, 25% to be precise. This is too much for your body. Bananas might give you an instant boost of energy, but you will lose it very fast as well so you will feel hungry soon after you ate.

Are bananas considered a healthy food?

Bananas contain too much sugar and they lack proteins and fat. For this reason they are not considered a very healthy meal on their own. It is even considered that eating a lot of this fruit only can be very risky for your health. The best way to eat a banana is to pair it with a fat. So you can use peanut for instance and that way you will lessen its effect on your blood sugar.

What Should you have for breakfast instead?

So, even if you are in a rush in the morning have an apple. You will lose couple of seconds washing it but you will do a huge favour to your body.
