There are some warning signs, some symptoms that you might have experienced which are probably as a result of magnesium deficiency.


Being tired is not something that is uncommon nowadays. This can be a result of too many things, like stress, not enough sleep, busy schedule and the list goes on. But at the same time this is one of the earliest signs of magnesium deficiency. Obviously everyone feels tired at some point so not everyone would accept this as a sign that something is wrong with their body. Even if you go to the doctors with this symptom they will not check for magnesium deficiency at all, and the thing is the fatigue will not go away until your body receives the necessary amount of magnesium.


Once in a while everyone has to deal with anxiety and panic attacks. Same as tiredness they can appear as a result of many things and no one would believe that magnesium is the real cause. If you start to experience them on regular basis and you know you are not prone to, then your levels of magnesium in your body are low.

Magnesium is one of the most important minerals that our body needs to relax. This is the reason why magnesium is found in sleep supplements as well. This mineral allows our muscles to relax and when we do not have enough of it we might experience muscle cramping. This can get even more serious and can contribute to facial tics and insomnia in some cases.

Low magnesium levels can cause vomiting. This symptom is not considered to be severe one, but you know for sure that it is unpleasant one. Nausea and vomiting can be experienced even when the levels of magnesium are high, so that is what makes this even more confusing for doctors.
